Growing up in California, I never really understood why people were so crazy about fall, probably because we didn’t have any! It really wasn’t until I moved to Colorado at the age of 25 that I started to understand what this whole fall love thing was all about. September quickly became one of my favorite months in Colorado and every year we lived there I looked forward to the mild temperatures and leaves changing colors. It was so beautiful!
Now that we live in Texas (such is life as a military family!) I still find myself pining away for those fall days in Colorado. Which is why I designed the Falling For Fall templates – three fall-tastic digital paper-lovin’ templates perfect for capturing all your most favorite things about fall.

One of my favorite things about these Falling For Fall templates is each template features customized Inner Shadow layer styling to give various shapes in the templates an awesome cut-out effect.
I love using Inner Shadowing for this look because it makes the design super customizable for you. You can easily move the cutout shapes around the page to fit your story as well as adjust the layer styling size and angle to work with your drop shadows.
